TWO people have been charged after a 24-year-old man was shot in Morden this week.

Police were called to a reported shooting at the junction between Central Road and Abbotsbury Road shortly after 2pm on Tuesday.

A man was taken to hospital where he remains. His condition is confirmed to not be life-threatening.

Daniel Gaudin, 22, of Cranleigh Close, Waltham Cross and Shannon Rule, 21, of Ashwood Road, E4 have since been charged.

They will appear in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court today (June 24).
