Anthony Wordsworth and Joe Pigott have revealed who they want AFC Wimbledon to be drawn in the FA Cup third round.
The pair got on the scoresheet to help the Dons see off FC Halifax Town at the Shay after the visitors overcame a poor start.
Ben Purrington set them on their way with his first goal since 2014 while a Rod McDonald own goal proved to be the non-league hosts’ consolation strike.
Wimbledon will be ball number 57 when the draw takes place on Monday (December 4), with the prospect of coming up against a top six Premier League club a significant possibility.
In an interview with BT Sport’s Matt Smith, Wordsworth said he’d relish an away clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium – being a Gunners fan himself.
Meanwhile fellow goalscorer Pigott wants Tottenham Hotspur away at Wembley Stadium, a replay of last season’s FA Cup clash at the same stage.
Wimbledon ignited hopes of an upset that day in January earlier this year when they went into the break with the Premier League side goalless.
But Harry Kane’s double strike in two minutes dashed those dreams before Jan Vertonghen got in on the act to record a 3-0 victory for the hosts.
The Dons will be ball number 57 on Monday evening for the latest FA Cup draw.
