AFC Wimbledon will welcome West Ham Untied to Kingsmeadow in the second round of the EFL Carabao Cup.
The tie will be the first between the sides and will take place on August 28.
The Dons are unbeaten this season following two wins and a draw from their opening three matches, whilst West Ham sustained a heavy 4-0 defeat away at Liverpool in their opening fixture.
Wimbledon came from a goal down in their opening round fixture on Tuesday away at Portsmouth thanks to goals from Joe Pigott and an Anton Walkes own goal.
Dons midfielder Tom Soares reflected on Tuesday's performance as he looked towards Saturday's league tie at Barnsley.
“It’ll be our toughest test so far, they’ve pretty much got the same squad from the Championship, but the boys are raring to go and we’re coming off the back of a great result on Tuesday night.
“We’re a good team, we showed good character coming back from 1-0 down and winning, (away at Portsmouth), I think the boys are looking forward to the game.”
Soares also praised the 500 fans who travelled to Fratton Park for the cup match.
“It’s Tuesday night, it’s a tough place to go anyway, but to bring that sort of support it helps massively.
"We know it’s hard for the fans to get to some of these away games, but when you have the Wombles there cheering you on, it’s a massive help.”
