2021 saw a lot of iconic TV moments that the nation sat down and experienced together.
From Line of Duty, football finals, and tell all royal interviews some of the biggest moments in the nation's history took place last year, and the figures show that too.
England's progression through the Euro 2020 football tournament won bumper ratings for BBC and ITV, but it wasn't the final that gained the most views.
England's semi-final victory over Denmark on July 7 became the most viewed broadcast by any channel for ITV with 18.4 million watching the match.

Making it the largest audience for full coverage of a football match shown on one channel.
BBC's Line of Duty concluding episode came in second with 15.7 million watching to discover who 'H' really was, the scores also made the hit show the most-watched drama series of the 21st century so far.
Close behind the police corruption show is the infamous Oprah Winfrey's interview with Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex with a rating of 14.8 million viewers.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s announcement on January 4 of a new nationwide lockdown had an audience of 14.3 million on BBC One, while the special news programme that followed directly afterwards on BBC One was seen by 11.1 million.
Just outside the top ten was the ITV drama The Pembrokeshire Murders with 9.8 million and Channel 4's The Great British Bake Off at 9.6 million.
