Another boring read in your local rag supporting these idiots that block junctions and think it is ok to do so, park anywhere they feel like and think its ok to do so, do not display nor make sure their pay and display ticket is attached correctly.
There is a sticky part at the back that, if you put it corner to corner and press it on the screen it stays there, it don’t curl up.
Who cares if the residents of Dorset Road find it hard to get into Kingston road?
Use another road - there are others - or shall we just get rid of traffic wardens and let every clown do as they wish?
I don’t use Dorset road to exit into Kingston Road because, I agree, it’s not easy to do so it’s a matter of timing to pull out as the cars in Kingston Road start to pull forward from the level crossing.
You may just get two cars out, or if there is a considerate driver he or she will let you out.
But by penalising the idiots that don’t care less about anyone else and block the box area should be welcomed.
I had in the past tried to cross over Kingston Road via the road opposite Dorset Road and found I was there forever due to these clowns blocking the junction, they should be penalised and the local residents should support this.
After all Dorset Road is mainly used as a rat run I have done it my self, now I only use Dorset road from Kingston road to turn left into.
As for the Hartfield Road bus lane - let's allow everyone do as they like shall we?
It is there to let buses through and it encourages people to travel this way if its quicker. So what if it adds five minutes to your journey? Use another route if you don’t like it.
After all, when the works were in place people seemed to do this.
It is the same old story you get a ticket for doing wrong and you don’t like it, and of course you're never in the wrong.
I'll support any method that keeps traffic moving, but have no time at all for the whingers that have nothing else to do but moan, moan ,moan.
The Wimbledon Guardian should now call it a day and start printing letters that are of interest, and not from boring old farts that have nothing better to do but moan.
Traffic jams are here to stay, so are traffic wardens, bus lanes and whatever else is dreamed up.
So get used to it, or buy yourself a push bike or start walking. Stop whinging and get a life for heavens sake.
No, I have nothing to do with Merton Council before you start writing in - I just can’t stand people that think they should be able to do whatever they feel like when they feel like on this matter.
