in march this year i put a bird feeder up and soon was visited by 1 parakeet now 3 months later i have 4 bird feeders and 24 parakeets visiting daily from 5 00am till about 8 30pm hard to believe this in mitcham i can even sit in the garden now and they take no notice of me they have pulled all the leafs of the top of my peartree and surrounding trees to use as perches and now they have started to walk round garden which is quite amuseing Based on information supplied by mr d akehurst.
