I am amazed Councillor Mark Betteridge dismisses my complaints about the new £25 administration fee levied on visitor’s parking permits by saying it covers “the initial cost of setting up new residents on our system”.
What rubbish.
In my case, the charge was levied on my third annual visitor’s permit, and I have been on the council’s “system” for the past 21 years I have been living in this borough.
