Three crafty mums will bring back a popular charity fair this weekend which has helped good causes for the last two years.
Big-hearted mums Wendy Day, Inger Larsen and Ruth Barker, who started a twice-yearly Craft Year in Motspur Park in 2009, are back with their fourth event, featuring stalls selling handmade crafts made by nearby residents and charitable donations.
Mrs Day said the refreshment proceeds will go the Children’s Hospice said Saturday’s event at Holy Cross Church Hall would feature a selection of new and regular stallholders.
She said: “There’s something for everyone, including home-made cake and a cuppa with friends and neighbours.
“‘When is the next one?’ is the question we’re always asked, and we would hate to disappoint.”
Stalls will feature knitted toys, handmade jewellery, children's books, wicker products, handmade chocolates, face painting, and homemade cakes.
The Spring Craft Fair takes place on Saturday, May 14, at Holy Cross Church Hall, Motspur Park, between 2-5pm.
