Regarding your article on the Government proposing to move the May Bank Holiday, I'm a lifelong Nelson fan and have long believed we should have a Trafalgar Day Bank Holiday.
Also, it is a bit of a long time between August Bank Holiday and Christmas and I feel many people would like an autumn break for this reason. The weather can still be very good at this time of year.
I can understand the suggestion that we have a Saint George's Day Bank Holiday but this would make it a bit close to Easter.
I feel it would be more beneficial to spread our Bank Holidays out a bit.
