In an article in the Guardian of February 10, Dr Nav Chana is quoted commenting on the NHS reform e.g. his colleagues wanted to tackle a “significant disconnect” between health and social care in the borough.
What sort of gobbledegook is that?
He also promised patients greater involvement in their own care and a voice in how services are run.
Really? I already feel pretty involved in my recent care and am happy with the way the NHS is run.
The Conservative-led Government has no mandate for these NHS reforms which were not in their manifesto.
Dr Chana states “we want our GPs and clinical staff to focus on delivering patient care.” Isn’t that what the NHS has always done?
These reforms are simply privatising the NHs so that private companies can profit even more from it.
Profits, I suspect, will come before patient care and the NHS, as we have known it, will vanish for good.
