Police have arrested a man following reports of a person with knives near Parliament
Officers arrived at the scene just after 2pm today (November 12) and arrested a 34-year-old on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
No injuries have been reported.
Police were called at 14:01hrs today to reports of a man in possession of knives outside Parliament, SW1.

A spokesperson for Westminster MPS said: "Police were called at 2.01pm today to reports of a man in possession of knives outside Parliament, SW1.
"Officers attended and a 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
"No injuries have been reported."
