In 2023, The Turk's Head in Twickenham won the award for Best City/Urban Pub at the Great British Pub Awards.

Described as being a "great all-round local community hub" that is "energetically welcoming", the pub is very popular.

Set near Twickenham stadium, The Turk's Head welcomes all from " choir, a running club, and regular comedy, jazz, soul, blues and big band nights."

Alongside its great atmosphere, The Turks Head has also been praised for its "brilliant food and drink offering" with 31 beer taps and a well-run team.

Mr Fogg's City Tavern on Liverpool Street

Mr Fogg's City Tavern was named the best pub in London at the National Pub and Bar Awards in early 2024.

The tavern is described as an "eccentric Victorian-style tavern" offering draught beers, punches, cocktails and pub food.

The pub was inspired by the explorer of Jules Verne's novel Around the World in 80 Days, Mr Fogg's puts an exciting twist on the typical pub.

With a TripAdvisor rating of 4.5/5, Mr Fogg's is popular for its regular brunches and atmosphere, as one guest wrote: "Great bar for drinks and socialising. Decor is beautifully themed. Good choice of cocktails and drinks to choose from."

The Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich

The Trafalgar Tavern won the award for the Best Pub for Entertainment at the Great British Pub Awards.

Nestled in the heart of Greenwich, with stunning views over the Thames, it’s home to the Nile Restaurant and Collingwood Bar.

Whether you're in the mood for a pub lunch, a pint, or a Sunday roast, the Trafalgar Tavern’s seasonal menu features classic dishes like their renowned fish and chips.

The bar offers an impressive drink selection, including over 20 local and national beers, a whiskey collection with more than 100 varieties, and a gin selection that will please any enthusiast.

The Audley Public House in Mayfair

The Audley Public House scooped a top prize at the National Pub & Bar Awards 2024, being named the best in London.

Open seven days a week from 11am, the bar is a star attraction in this award-winning setting.

A 4.5 star rating from reviewers on TripAdvisor - who rave about the pub's atmosphere and food - shows that it is more than deserving of the win.

One regular wrote in April: "This is a great London pub in Mayfair, London.

"I must have visited it over the years about 15 times. Still got that nice feeling of a London pub but in an upmarket part of London."

The Kings Arms Pub in Bexleyheath

The Kings Arms Pub was named the best pub for entertainment at the 2023 Great British Pub Awards.

The pub hosts a range of events including weekly, live music from a line-up of acts on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as quiz nights every Wednesday.
