A man has been taken to hospital where he remains in a life-threatening condition after a fight in Colliers Wood.
Police were called to reports of a fight in Watermill Way just after 8pm last night (July 9).
Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service.
A 21-year-old man was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where his condition remains life threatening.
A second man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH.
Police are appealing for witnesses, and anyone with information should call 101 with reference 6687/09JUL.
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “At 20:02hrs on Sunday, 9 July police were called to reports of a fight in Watermill Way, SW19.
“Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service.
“A 21-year-old man was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where his condition remains life threatening.
“A second man has been arrested on suspicion of GBH.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident and has not spoken to officers is asked to call 101, giving the reference 6687/09JUL.
“Information can also be provided to Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
“Please note: We are aware of social media reports suggesting this incident involved a stabbing. That is not correct.”
