The New Wimbledon Theatre is to welcome “the world’s most dangerous magic show” for one night only.
X-TREME MAGIC, which was first created in Las Vegas, promises “death-defying, edge-of-your-seat stunts, sensational stage illusions, daredevil escapology, and mind-blowing magic, audiences will leave with minds boggled for weeks to come”.
The show is taking a 12-date tour of the UK, with New Wimbledon Theatre one of the stops on the list.
The production will only be shown at the New Wimbledon Theatre on October 25 at 7.30pm.
Other venues will be hosting the show from October 16 to 31.
The show, which is produced by Shone Productions and rehearsed for over two years, is “a modern-day spectacle of magic and illusion like no other you’ve seen before”.
Master Illusionist Richard Cadell will be joined by a full supporting cast that includes: Britain’s Got Talent winner - Richard Jones, TV magician - Pete Firman (who takes the place of John Archer for one night only in Wimbledon – 25th Oct), international award-winning quick-change artiste – Solange Kardinaly and making his first ever UK debut, internationally acclaimed Manipulator – Askadio José.
There are also many fire artists, speciality acts and dancers.
The show is said to include motorcycles that appear from nowhere, escape attempts from a straitjacket whilst hung from a burning rope, and Russian Roulette being played with sticks of Dynamite.
Star of the show and master illusionist, Richard Cadell, said: “Forget card tricks and hankies - this is thrilling magic the scale of which has never been seen in the UK before.
“We have uniquely combined circus skills and genuine danger with some of the most mind-boggling illusions ever imagined.”
Producer James Shone added: “I am delighted to be touring X-TREME MAGIC across the UK this autumn.
“The show has been created in Las Vegas and promises to be one of the finest productions there is.
“We have some of the leading magicians and illusionists in the industry who have all helped to create a remarkable production.
“I’m certain you won’t want to miss it!”
The show is suitable for children ages 12+.
Tickets start from £29.40.
