A traditional Hawaiian poké restaurant is opening in Wimbledon, bringing a taste of Island life to south west London.
Island Poké, the UK’s leading poké brand, will be bringing its fresh Pacific flavours to Wimbledon at the end of July.
The food is all made fresh to order with sustainable and high-quality fish and vegetables on a bed of sushi rice, and even the option of a light and fluffy bao bun to enjoy your poké in.
James Gould-Porter, the founder of Island Poké, said: “Opening in Wimbledon is a huge moment for us and we are delighted to be bringing our Fresh Pacific Flavours to the area.
“It’s our mission to bring people a great and fresh alternative to the traditional lunch and dine-out offering and we think that the residents of Wimbledon are going to love it.”
As well as raw tuna and salmon or chicken, there are vegetarian and vegan restaurants and customers can even build their own bowl with over a million combinations to choose from.
At the end of this month, people in Wimbledon can try the brand-new branch and customers should keep their eyes peeled for a special day where all poké bowls will be just £1 each.
