A festival is set to transform Wimbledon Park into a haven for food and music lovers next weekend.
From May 27 to May 29, Pub in the Park will serve up a selection of dishes created by some of the most talented chefs in the UK.
The event will see a grand menu of 150 dishes which will be served by 39 award-winning pubs and restaurants - making it the largest collection of dishes to be served at any festival in the UK this summer.
The music line-up of the first ever Pub in the Park Wimbledon has some showstopping performances from music acts including Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Faithless (DJ set), Soul II Soul Soundsystem, Basement Jaxx DJ set, The Brand New Heavies, Björn Again, Stereo MCs, Huey Morgan DJ set and more.
Across the weekend, celebrity chefs Simon Rimmer, Leyla Kazim and Saturday Kitchen frontman, Matt Tebbutt, will be hosting the festival in Wimbledon.
The star line-up of pubs and restaurants include Atul Kochhar’s Restaurants, The Hardwick from Marco Pierre White protégé Stephen Terry, Afghan barbeque sensation, Cue Point by Mursal Saiq and Josh Moroney, The Star Inn from Yorkshireman Andrew Pern and many more.
If meat isn’t your thing, then Holy Carrot will delight visitors with their ‘Sexy Tofu’, with Aubergine, red pepper, and peanut sauce alongside crispy maki tri-colour organic quinoa, heritage vegetables, tempura and spicy mayo.
Festival Director, Miranda Martin, said “I’m so excited to finally reveal our incredible menus for Pub in the Park Wimbledon, it will be the tastiest festival menu you’ll get your hands on this Summer.
