Police are looking to speak to the owner of two Staffordshire bull terriers after an attack on another dog in Wandle Park.
On April 18 at around 8.30pm a man was walking his dog when he was approached by a woman who was walking her two dogs.
One was tan and the other black in colour and both of the dogs are believed to be Staffordshire Bull Terriers or of a similar breed.
One of the woman’s dogs bit the mans dog puncturing its neck.
Police have said that this has caused significant emotional damage to the owner.
Merton Police would like to speak to the owner of the two Staffordshire Bull Terriers to assist with further investigations into the incident.
She is well known amongst dog walkers in the area according to a Facebook comment written by Merton Police.

A statement that Merton Police wrote on Facebook said: “The victim was walking his dog in Wandle Park, Colliers Wood, on 18/04/22 just after 20:30 hours.
“He was approached by a female walking two dogs, one tan and one black in colour.
“Both are reported to be Staffordshire bull terrier or a similar breed.
“One of these dogs bit the victims’ dog leaving puncture wounds to the neck. “There has been significant emotional damage/stress to the owner.
“We would like to speak to the owner of the two dogs to assist our investigations into this matter.
