Pancake day returns to the UK next Tuesday and we’ve conjured up the top locations to taste the delicious flat cakes across Wimbledon.

Pancake day, also known as Shrove Tuesday, is a day to celebrate the deliciously thin and round cakes, perfect for sweet tooths and savoury suckers.

Many Christians see it as the last time to indulge in luxuries before fasting for 40 days, also known as Lent.

If you don’t fancy the risk of pancakes sticking to the ceiling, or endless amounts of washing up, why not dine out in Wimbledon this pancake day.

Whether you’re going for a classic lemon and sugar topped treat or fancy it American style – we’ve rounded up the best hotspots for everybody.
