Police have released a public appeal in the search for a 10-year-old boy who went missing from a primary school in Raynes Pak this morning (Monday, November 22).
The image of 10-year-old Yusef was published by the Metropolitan Police in Merton Monday as they urged the public to contact them with any information regarding his whereabouts.
Yusef, the appeal read, "has been missing from a primary school in Raynes Park since 11.30am this morning (22/11/2021)."
It added that he had "links to New Malden and was last seen in Kingston Town Centre at 12.45pm... If you see him, call 999."

Yusef is 5ft tall and of medium build. He was last seen wearing a burgundy red jumper, polo shirt and grey trousers. He may also be wearing a coat.

The appeal was re-shared on Twitter over one hundred times by users seeking to amplify its message.
A later update from Merton MPS offered a description of Yusef and what he was wearing, plus additional details on how to help with the search for him:

In a later update, police confirmed the boy had been found "safe and well".
