Armed police have been deployed in Wimbledon following a robbery.
Police say two suspects approached a victim in Wimbledon Train Station on Sunday.
They said they had a knife and took property from a member of the public.
Two officers, PC Freeman and PC Beattie, carried out an area search and identified the suspects.
Two others, PCs Lamothe and Garmiani, met the victim.
PCs Barrett and Munt were joined by an armed response unit to stop the suspects.
A Dog Unit assisted with a property search.
Three people were arrested on suspicion of robbery and the stolen property was recovered.
Merton Police tweeted: "#Arrest | Officers were called to Wimbledon Train Station yesterday to reports of a robbery.
"Two suspects have approached a victim, stated they had a knife & taken property from a member of public.
"PC Freeman & PC Beattie carried out an area search & identified the suspects.
"PCs Lamothe & Garmiani met the victim.
"PCs Barrett & Munt assisted with stopping the suspects with the help of an Armed Response Unit.
"A Dog Unit assisted with a property search.
"Three suspects were arrested for Robbery and the stolen property was recovered."
