A file is being prepared for a coroner after a man’s body was discovered in Mitcham.
Police were called to reports of a male found unresponsive in Shropshire Close shortly after 4pm yesterday (September 13).
Emergency services attended but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the man has not been revealed at this stage, nor is it clear how he died.
A Met Police spokeswoman said: “The death has been deemed non-suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner.”
One person, who wished to remain anonymous, told Wimbledon Guardian he was found under some flats before police were called.
