Now that the dust has settled I wanted to write and thank the residents of Mitcham, Morden and Colliers Wood for making my experience as their Conservative candidate such a great one.
I want to publicly thank the thousands of people I met in the constituency.
I also want to thank the thousands of people who put their vote by my name- which is a feeling that I will never forget.
Whilst the Conservative candidate I was made aware of many people’s concerns, hopes and constituency issues and it was a privilege to be able to help in some of them.
I would like to thank my team for their loyalty to me and their hard work.
Lastly, I would like to congratulate Siobhain McDonagh MP.
Even though we disagree hugely on policy, there is no doubt she is committed to the area she represents.
One thing we both agree on is that Mitcham and Morden is a rich, diverse and fantastic part of London.
Yours,
Paul Holmes
2015 Conservative Candidate for Mitcham and Morden
