Labour’s Siobhain McDonagh is celebrating after being re-elected into Mitcham and Morden as MP.
Ms McDonagh, who sounded emotional as she thanked voters and her team on stage, got 27,380 votes- more than 2,500 more than in 2010.
In second place was Conservative Paul Holmes with an impressive 10, 458 votes.

In third was UKIP’s Richard Hilton, with 4,287 votes, which he was happy with. He said: “I am very happy.
“That’s a five fold increase.
“I am very pleased with that.”
He said he would take a short break and come back in June to concentrate on the areas where the party had the most support. These areas will be released by Merton Council later today, he said.
Mr Holmes said he was encouraged by the result, declared just before 3am.
He said: “We held steady.
“I am not going anywhere.
“We will continue to pressure Siobhain McDonagh to keep her election promises.”
He said he wanted to congratulate Ms McDonagh on her win.
Mr Holmes was emotional after the votes were read out. He was stood with family and friends who turned out to support him.
Des Coke from the Christian Peoples Alliance got 217 votes, Diana Coman of the Liberal Democrats got 1,378, Richard Hilton 4,287 and Green party’s Mason Redding 1,422.
