The main players in Merton's parliamentary elections have arrived at the count.
Siobhain McDonagh, standing again for Labour in Mitcham and Morden turned up in a stunning red dress just after 2am having been rumoured to have been in the pub in nearby Cricket Green with friends and colleagues.
Stephen Hammond, hoping to hold onto his Conservative seat in Wimbledon, arrived shortly before with an air of confidence and a tan he claims is from canvassing around Merton and Kingston in the last few weeks.
The pair spoke to the Wimbledon Guardian about what they are hoping for tonight.
