Voting is underway in Merton as people head to the polls to decide who the next government will be, and locally, who will represent them as an MP in parliament.
One of the polling stations is at Morden Primary School where dozens of voters have been going this morning since the polls opened at 7am.

Voters have until 10pm this evening to cast their vote, when the votes will be counted and the results announced overnight and into tomorrow morning.
Among those going to vote this morning were friends Elijah Manu-Adu, 19, and Gavin O’Dath, 20, pictured below, who both live in Morden.
Mr O’Dath said: "I wanted to have my say in the election.
"This is our government, we have to make our votes count."
Mr Manu-Adu said: "I wanted to be heard.
"I am not that into politics but I can see this is an important day."
A man who did not want to give his name, said he would be voting but it would not make any difference anyway. He said: "We know who’s going to win here, it’s Labour.
"It’s a Labour seat.
"Might as well vote for the winner," he said as he made his way into the polling station.
Julia Haswell, pictured above, went into vote with her grandson Freddie, followed by Tilbahadur Thapa, 54, of Green Lane.
A workman passing by said he wouldn’t be voting unless the Monster Raving Loony Party was on the ballot paper.
Sharon Reeves, from Morden, said it was important to vote. Ms Reeves said: "We should vote because we can."
Married couple Maureen and Brian Gough who live near the primary school in London Road, Morden, voted together this morning.
Mrs Gough said: "I think it’s important to vote.
"If you don’t, you don’t you have no right to complain."
