Full time law student Jacqui Cleaves has more than revision to occupy her time this year.
Not only has she staged another successful Colliers Wood Arts Festival as chairman, she gives up any free time she has to volunteer as chairman of the Friends of Donald Hope library.
She also teaches English and reading skills to children two days a week and looks after her own two children as a single mother.
Miss Cleaves, who is part way through a law degree at Westminster University, has also volunteered at St Winefrid's Church in Latimer Road, Wimbledon, for the last seven years and was formerly PTA chairman at Priory CofE School when her children were pupils there.
As chairman of the Colliers Wood Arts Festival she played a key role in organising more than 40 events including a short story competition, live music and a food festival.
She had been nominated several times for the community and volunteer awards at this year's Merton Civic Awards for her tireless dedication to the area she lives.
Miss Cleaves was shocked and over-whelmed to be told of the nominations. She said: "I couldn't believe it and couldn't wait to tell my kids.
"They are my best friends and my rocks.
"I was over-whelmed when I found out about this."
Her enthusiasm and dedication does not go un-recognised.
She was nominated by colleagues who said she always has a smile on her face despite a very busy workload and is always happy to help people in need.
There is still time to nominate someone special.
