The Merton Civic Awards 2015 have just launched and now is your chance to say thank you to someone you know who is doing something special in the borough.
There are nine categories to choose from, so whether that person is an outstanding teacher, a dedicated volunteer, an amazing young person or a brilliant parent there is an award you can nominate them for.
It only takes a few minutes to fill out the nomination form and we will do the rest.
Nominating someone shows you care about what they do, and just imagine how they will feel if they are standing on the stage at the awards ceremony at the Antoinette Hotel on July 15 as one of our winners.
So please help us to thank all those people in Merton who go the extra mile to make this borough so special.
At the Wimbledon Guardian we are really looking forward to hearing about the inspiring work people are doing and featuring as many of them as we can in the paper and on this website.
I am very grateful to our partner in these awards, Merton Council, and all our sponsors this year for supporting these important awards – we couldn’t do it without you.
