Move aside Kensington, stand aside Mayfair - Mitcham has made a surprise entry as one of the UK's top ten most expensive areas.
It appears CR4 has the fourth highest number of streets with an average house value of £1m.
The suburb was listed number four in the chart by property website Zoopla ahead of super-rich enclaves including Cobham and Kingston with 100 streets where the average house price is £1m or more.
Mitcham's inclusion will raise a few eyebrows given that neighbouring Wimbledon, known to be home to dozens of millionaire’s pads has missed out.
However a spokesman for Zoopla confirmed that the figures were correct and that they stood by CR4's ranking as the area with the fourth highest number of streets with an average property value of £1m.
Topping the list was City of London, followed by Richmond, Guildford and then Mitcham.
Behind Mitcham came Leatherhead, Beaconsfield, Cobham, Kingston, Harpenden and Esher.
The survey found Britain was now home to 8,230 streets with an average property value of over £1m with the number of million pound streets in Britain rising by 23 per cent over past 12 months.
