Police are appealing for information after a 14-year-old girl was held at gun point and robbed.
The incident was the first of two armed robberies which happened within minutes of each other in Wimbledon.
The girl was robbed of her mobile phone in an alley in Wimbledon Chase, which runs between Merton Hall Road and Kingston Road, at about 8.40pm on Thursday, December 27.
Minutes later a 21-year-old man was robbed of his wallet on Kingston Road.
On both occasions the victims were threatened with a black handgun before the robber ran off in the direction of South Wimbledon.
He is described as a light-skinned black man, possibly mixed race, around 5 foot 7 or 8 and had stubble.
He was wearing a hooded top with a black and red Puffa type jacket over the top of it.
A white male, who is not believed to be connected to the robbery, was seen by one of the victims cycling past them in Chase Alley.
Police believe he may be able to provide vital information.
DCI Tracey Stevens of Merton CID said: "Theses were two particularly traumatic robberies that took place shortly after Christmas involving very young victims.
"I ask anyone who has information that can assist in identifying this male to come forward and speak to police to prevent him from committing further crimes".
Anyone with information should call Merton CID on 020 8649 4072 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555
