There's no need to carry out surveys on why bird wildlife is disappearing in London.
I am just experiencing the heart-breaking sight of a beautiful mature tree over 70 feet in height being slowly decapitated behind one of the gardens in Toynbee Road.
No shelter for the birds now in winter, no food for them in summer.
