DONS captain Ben Heneghan has praised the impact of new signing Sam Cosgrove.
The striker joined Wimbledon on loan from Birmingham City during the January transfer window.
Cosgrove made his debut in the defeat to Charlton on the weekend, but did show some promising signs that he could be a good signing.
Heneghen told the club website: “I thought he did well on his debut.
“He caused chaos up there. We did get in there in the first half with a good few chances, which we should have capitalised on.
“Sam hadn't played in a while, so he had to get the minutes in, but he’s got to build on that and I’m expecting him to last the full 90 minutes next time."
Cosgrove will have another chance to impress in the Dons next match against Rotherham.
