Wimbledon RFC have entered the National 2 South for their forthcoming league season, the club has announced.
The season will begin with back-to-back home games against Barnstaple and Worthing for the 1st XV while the 2nd XV also entertain Hertford on the opening weekend.
The Dons achieved promotion in the playoffs last season when they defeated Dings Crusaders of Bristol 55-5, which now places them in the fourth highest tier of English rugby.
They lost only once under coach Nick Evans in 2017, to Tonbridge Juddians, and three times all season.
