Step into the vibrant world of NYX Hotel in Holborn, where bottomless brunch isn't just a meal, it's an experience.
Picture yourself on the 10th floor, surrounded by panoramic views of London's skyline as you dive into a bottomless feast that kicks off at noon and lasts till 6 pm.
My friend and I tested out the bottomless brunch on Saturday and enjoyed the urban splendour of NYX Hotel whilst sipping on some sweet cocktails and eating delicious grub.
When I arrived at the hotel, I knew this wasn’t going to be like any average brunch —the hotel’s cool, trendy affair is the perfect setting for those who love a bottomless brunch in the coolest of places.
The brunch is situated on the 10th floor inside the glasshouse which is stacked with maximalist artwork and quirky seating areas.
Sadly, Mr Blue Sky didn’t decide to make an appearance during our experience, so the sunroof was closed, however the open windows which welcomed in the London skyline made up for it.
For 90 minutes, customers can enjoy one main course and one dessert from the brunch menu, with items such as braised beef tacos, smoked salmon, mushrooms on toast, superfruit parfait and glazed banana pancakes.
And let's not forget the pièce de resistance: the free-flowing drinks.#
Guests can choose either bottomless prosecco, Bloody Mary, Pornstar Martini, or NYX Iced Tea – we obviously had to go for the prosecco, with a few pornstars thrown in.
For my main, I enjoyed the sweet waffle, which was made up of crispy buttermilk chicken, chipotle mayo, and green slaw, while my friend had the pulled lamb flatbread, which was accompanied by mint and coriander salsa and harissa yoghurt.
The sweetness of the waffle paired perfectly with the crunchy buttermilk chicken and was a delight in every bite.
Whilst we gossiped and admired the London views in the sunshine, our attentive waiter for the evening handed us two of the most delicious pornstar martinis I have had in a long, long time.
For my dessert I had the light and fruity upside down orange cake, while my friend enjoyed the French brioche with berries and cream that looked as beautiful as it tasted.
But it's not just about the food and drinks; it's about the ambiance, the vibe, the sheer energy that pulsates through the glasshouse.
Likeminded customers were enjoying their Saturdays and getting lost in conversation – it seemed like friendships were forged over shared plates and endless laughter.
It's the perfect place to kick off a summer in London, where every moment is infused with possibility and excitement.
As the afternoon stretches into evening and the sun begins its descent, we found ourselves reluctant to leave.
The vibe at Glasshouse On The Roof is electric, filled with laughter and good times and is the ideal brunch location that sets the tone for an epic summer in London.
