A storage firm in Mitcham has set up a Christmas challenge to fill a storage room full of donations for the Salvation Army.
Local residents and businesses have been invited to drop off new toys, books and clothes for children and families at Access Self Storage 141 Morden Rd (CR4 4DG).
The challenge is to beat last year’s collection which received more than 1,500 presents including games, books, toys and clothing.
Mark Scott of the Salvation Army said: “To hear that Access Self Storage Mitcham has chosen us to receive gifts collected by the store is a wonderful help.
"These donations by individuals, families and businesses give a huge boost to the people who depend on our care over Christmas.”
It's the third year Access Self Storage in Mitcham has rallied to help the Salvation Army over Christmas.
Manager Nick Laming said: “We’ve nominated the Salvation Army once again because we believe in the great work they do.”
